How to create your very own Alphabet Blocks in 5 easy steps (see 6th picture within this listing for visual)
Step 1- Purchase your 6” hollow cube block, 5”x 1/8” thick square, select your 4” letters of choice from this listing. You will need either Gorilla Wood Glue or you can use Elmer’s white school glue. If you are painting them buy your acrylic paint as well.
Step 2- Apply glue to the backside of the 5” square, press firmly onto the center of your 6” block.
Step 3- Apply glue to your 4” wooden letter and press firmly onto the center of your 5” square. Ensuring all sides of the letter are touching the square.
Step 4- Apply a heavyweight or clamps. I used a 10lb weight I purchased from the thrift store or you can also use several heavy books. When applying the weight be careful that your square or letter doesn’t slide to one side or the other causing it not to be square and lined up. You’ll end up with a crooked alphabet block.
Step 5- Paint your block in your color of choice. This step can also be done before you glue, making it an easier process to get the edges. Display at your Holiday, Baby Shower, Wedding or Special Event!
