862 PostcardTHE SILVERSMITH'S DAUGHTER, Navajo – Joseph Willis 1920
Photo - New
The young daughter of a Navajo silversmith is shown wearing a silver naja (crescent shaped or squash blossom) necklace, heishi beads (small disc or tube-shaped beads) with jaclas (heishi earrings) and an array of silver bracelets and rings, all of which seem to be custom made just the right size for a young girl.
