DUCKS UNLIMITED Handcrafted Special Edition CHESS SET Loon Lake Decoy DU Dog.
One dog is missing tiny tip off tail.
This chess game is an exact duplicate of an original wood carved chess set by the Loon Lake Decoy Company. Exclusively designed for the Ducks Unlimited 2003/2004 banquet program. Each limited edition reproduction is handcrafted and handpainted to capture every detail of the original.
The hinged top/playing surface is made of polished inlaid maple and birch wood attached with brass hardware to the furniture grade mahogany. There is a brown finish on the storage base. Each piece is hand cast in resin from original carvings, meticulously painted by hand, and has its own storage compartment. The set measures 21" wide x 21" long x 4.5" high and weighs over 20 lbs.
