    Description

    Ceramic jug drum 12"x14" that is widely used in South Indian classical Carnatic music. Top hole circumference 4.5". Includes rest and soft case. Taller and wider than the Matka or Jug Drum. Played by rapping on the outside, a range of sounds are possible. Please note these are individually hand made and have a variety innate and normal defects such as pitting, surface cracks and unsymmetrical shapes. All Ghatams are sold as is.  Soft case & cushion included
