A rare book

. all of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees
very good condition.... for its age:

very secure, back cover is as clean as the front
textblock
- pages secure
outer joints
-  just ok / repair to the bottom front [see last picture] and some splitting to the back one plus a small hole [picture 11]
spine ends
-  good, some wear and bottom one part of the repair
tips
- pretty good / some wear -back lower one bent [pict 11]
inner hinges
-  pretty good / some of the paper was cracked and someone re-glued it
pages
- very clean - only a few spots / title page is by far the dirtiest!
writing
- inscription on ffep
rips /folds
- no rips that I saw / a few wee tip folds /

- these old and heavy books are often found falling apart -this one is good, sturdy, and clean!

and remember
-this book is very old and may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke] - I have found that dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! some of my books get sold right away so please consider using this trick before deciding to return it!  As far as I can tell -this book has no bad smell.
