Easily Access The Chamber
When cleaning the chamber of your modern sporting firearm, normal patches are simply not made for the job. The Real Avid chamber pads are precision cut to easily fit into your chamber. They fit on most standard cleaning rods and come with a male adapter to attach the pads to your rod. They make cleaning your chamber far easier.
How to Use the Chamber Pads
Thread a Pad onto a Cleaning Rod
Apply pressure and twist pads onto the male end of any Real Avid cleaning rod or any standard 8-32 cleaning rod.
Spread CLP or Solvent in the Chamber
To break down carbon and fouling buildup in the chamber, first spread a large amount of CLP or solvent in the chamber with a chamber pad.
Use a Chamber Brush to Bust Up Fouling
Now that your chamber is soaked in solvent, use a chamber brush (not included) to bust up fouling and carbon. This will also allow the solvent to penetrate deeper.
Use Chamber Pads Until Clean
Now, attach another chamber pad to your cleaning rod and work it around. This pulls out the carbon and fouling. Then repeat until clean.
