Description
Beautiful Antique Ridgway Josephine Green Transferware oval serving bowl. Based on the mark of the Bow and Quiver on the bottom of the piece, the bowl is dated between 1879-1920. The piece was made in Staffordshire, England. The bowl has an open footed base.The piece is in good antique condition, with some wear from age and use. Some of the gold detail has worn off and there are a few spots on the rim that are worn and stained. There are no chips or cracks, but upon close inspection there are a few small nicks on the rim. Please see photos for details. The bowl measures 11.25" in length, 8.5" in width and 2.75" in height. The footed base is 6.75" in length and 5" in width and .75" in height.
