During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the victorian period of the 19th century

Dates about c1890s.
Ridgways mark underneath with the Venice pattern.
Of an English origin

Decorative blue & white oval dish or bowl with:
the blue & willow decoration to the inner and outer rim..
centrally to the base: a Venetian scene.

It has an overall size of about 10.5 x 5.25inches.
Max height of just over 2.75inches.
