This model is made of high quality artificial silk fibers so it combines the advantages of both silk and artificial fibers: silk satiny for softness as well as durability. So, great for regular and less delicate than 100 % natural silk from the silk worm which needs much more care and can wear out more easily.
We have tested several  fabrics and this one is the best for backpackers: compact, light, strong, easy wash, fast drying
