Vintage Homelite DM50 Multipurpose Concrete Cutoff Demo Saw for Parts or Repair

This is a vintage Homelite DM50 Concrete Cutoff Saw for parts or repair.  This saw is good condition and probably only needs carburetor work.  It tests at 200 psi compression, has spark and fires when primed.  We just cannot get it to start and run.  It does have some paint chipping, scuffs and grime, but almost all parts seem to be complete and intact with no damage.  The only thing this saw is missing is the nut that hold on the top air filter cover, otherwise it is complete.  We believe the DM50 can take up to a 10" blade although there is a used one on it now (the included cutoff blade is not particularly good, but that's really not what's for sale here and should probably be replaced anyway).  For shipping, the blade will be disassembled to reduce box size (and thus shipping costs).  This is a very nice example of Homelite's cutoff saw offerings from the 1980s and would be a great addition to any Homelite collection.  Ships via FedEx Ground.

:  While we do our best to test and describe these saws accurately, we cannot always spend time checking every little thing, like pulling mufflers for piston checks, testing oilers, or checking other parts.  If it is not described, we likely did not check and probably won't.  Because these are older saws, we also cannot guarantee that things like gaskets or fuel lines are fully intact or won't fail.  Once you work with these saw you may notice things we did not and unfortunately, unless there's been some gross oversight in our listing, we just cannot warrant these in any way.

TOOLS
Most tools we sell are used and will be listed as such.  We test and describe functionality as best as possible.  On these items we will not warrant consumable parts or any calibration needs.  Also, as used items, we can only warrant based on our testing and condition upon arrival.  Example, if an item breaks down after a day’s worth of use, we will not take it back.
We will also not take returns because 'you don't like it' or 'found a better deal', etc.  If these are the case, you are welcome to resell it, the packaging has already been provided.  Do your research and be certain before buying.
PARTS AND REPLACEMENT ITEMS
If you are buying a part or replacement item, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure you are absolutely sure you are buying the correct part for the job.  We will not accept returns or refunds of any kind because you bought the wrong part for your application.  Nor will we accept returns for an item that has been used, damaged or altered in any way.
PACKAGING
Whenever possible, we try to reuse and/or recycle our packaging and shipping materials.  And we encourage others to do the same.  Often (not always) your item may be received in re-purposed boxes and packing material.  Please reuse these items if you can, but if not, please recycle whenever possible.  Thank you!

RETURN POLICY
Generally we do not accept returns unless there has been some gross misrepresentation in the product description or some kind of damage during shipping.    If you just don’t like an item or it does not perform the way you thought it should, you are welcome to resell it.  As mentioned above, do your research first before buying.  If you have an issue you believe warrants a return, please contact us first to see if we can remedy the situation.  Items returned by delivery companies due to an invalid address being provided by the buyer will only be partially refunded.  A restocking fee not less than the shipping fees incurred will be applied prior to any refunds.
